The publication of EAI is fully supported by Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, part of „Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Romania, which provides the necessary infrastructure, editorial management, and operational resources to maintain the journal at high academic standards. The journal does not receive external funding from commercial sources, advertising, or third-party sponsors.

The only source of revenue for the journal is the article processing charge (APC), which is used exclusively to cover essential publication costs, including editorial management, peer review coordination, online hosting, and production of PDF and web versions of articles. By relying solely on the APC and the university’s support, EAI ensures independence from commercial influence, maintaining the integrity, transparency, and quality of the peer review and editorial process.

This funding model allows the journal to operate sustainably while providing open access to all readers, guaranteeing that high-quality research in economics and applied informatics is freely available worldwide without barriers. Authors and readers can be confident that the editorial decisions and academic standards are guided solely by scholarly merit, with no external commercial pressures affecting publication outcomes.
