The publication fee will be paid by the authors to the account of the Proeconomica Association – details in the Publication Fee section.
The Proeconomica Association (www.proeconomica.simpleads.ro) is a non-profit organization established by academic staff, researchers, and administrative personnel of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Dunărea de Jos University of Galați, Romania.
The Association was created to support the academic, research, and educational activities of the Faculty. According to its Statute, its objectives include supporting scientific research, academic publishing, journal management, international conferences, workshops, cooperation with the business community, educational projects, student activities, and the development of the Faculty’s research and educational infrastructure. For administrative and financial reasons, the article processing charges (APCs) paid by authors are collected and managed by the Proeconomica Association on behalf of the journal. The Association uses these funds to support the publication and dissemination of the journal and other academic activities consistent with its statutory objectives, including editorial management, publishing services, scientific events, and other research-related activities.
The Association has no influence whatsoever on editorial decisions. Editorial evaluation, peer review, acceptance, and rejection of manuscripts are conducted independently by the Editorial Team, in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies and ethical standards.
The activities of the Association are financed through:
- membership contributions;
- donations and sponsorships;
- voluntary tax designation mechanisms provided by Romanian legislation;
- conference registration fees;
- article processing charges;
- other legally accepted sources of funding.
The Proeconomica Association is a non-profit organization. Any income generated through APCs is reinvested exclusively in activities supporting academic publishing, scientific research, education, and the development of the Faculty. No profits are distributed to members of the Association.
Through its activities, the Association contributes to strengthening the research environment of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration by supporting scientific publishing, conferences, academic networking, educational projects, and research infrastructure.
